Job Description:

Role

Actuarial Data Manager will be responsible for ensuring timely, accurate, and structured data availability for actuarial modelling and reporting. You will lead the coordination with IT, cross-functional business teams, and actuarial stakeholders

Key Responsibilities:

Data Coordination & Streamlining

-
Act as the primary liaison between the actuarial and IT teams to ensure availability of accurate data.

- Drive automation and systemization of data extraction and transformation processes

Issue Resolution & Data Integrity

Identify, investigate, and resolve data-related issues impacting actuarial processes (e.g., missing data, inconsistencies, delays).





- Maintain audit trails and documentation of data corrections or overrides.

SQL Development for New Products:

-
Write, validate, and maintain SQL scripts to extract and transform data for new products.

- Ensure scalability and adaptability of code for future data changes and enhancements.

Monthly Data Availability & UAT:

-
Ensure end-to-end data delivery for monthly actuarial runs (reserving, reporting, etc.) as per agreed timelines.

- Lead and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) for new or modified data extracts or tables. Maintain a checklist and schedule for monthly data refresh and validation.

Supporting Actuarial team in Quarterly and Annual IRDAI Reporting

Support the team in quarterly computation and reporting of reserves and solvency of the company.

- Work on Annual Actuarial submissions to IRDAI.

Skills:

- Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

- Understanding of actuarial processes and insurance product structures.

- Good communication and project coordination skills.

- Familiarity with data governance practices is an added advantage.

Essential qualifications and experience:

Qualification - must have

Graduate/post graduate with strong knowledge in SQL. Progress on actuarial exams is an added advantage.
