50T to 1000T+), including tonnage capacity, bolster plates, and sliding bolsters.
Die & Tooling Maintenance: Ability to troubleshoot and service dies, align punches, and
adjust shut height.
Clutch and Brake Systems: Overhaul and adjustment of pneumatic or hydraulic clutch and
brake assemblies, which are critical for press stopping and safety.
Hydraulics & Pneumatics Fluid Power Systems: Reading and interpreting hydraulic and
pneumatic schematics.
Troubleshooting: Servicing hydraulic pumps, proportional valves, cylinders, and
counterbalance systems.
Air Logic: Managing air cushions, counter-balance systems, and lubrication systems.
Predictive & Preventive Maintenance (PM)Vibe & Thermal Analysis: Performing condition
monitoring to catch wear early (e.g., in flywheels, gearboxes, and bearings).
Autonomous Maintenance:
Planning and executing scheduled PMs, tracking Mean Time
Between Failures (MTBF).
Lubrication Management: Ensuring automatic lubrication systems are functioning for slides,
gibs, and crankshafts to prevent friction and seizing.
Machine Gib Alignment & Calibration Clearance Adjustments: Setting exact clearances on
press slides and gibs to ensure accurate vertical travel and extend die life.
Leveling and Alignment: Using dial indicators and precision levels to check the parallelism of
the bed and slide.
Core Engineering Skills Technical Drawings: Reading and interpreting complex mechanical
blueprints and assembly drawings. Spare Parts Management: Anticipating wear and tear,
managing parts inventory, and sourcing replacements.
Safety Protocols: Ensuring OSHA (or equivalent) safety standards for press controls, light
