Role Summary

Tirupati Road Carrier is hiring a Maintenance Incharge (Overall Site Incharge) to take complete ownership of fleet maintenance and site-level operations at our Tallaipalli Mines Raigarh, Chhattisgarh location. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can keep a fleet of tipper vehicles running at peak efficiency, lead a technical team, and ensure smooth day-to-day site operations.

Eligibility Criteria

- Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy vehicle / commercial fleet maintenance (mandatory).
- Willingness and ability to work at the Raigarh, Chhattisgarh site location (mandatory).
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems for tipper trucks (Tata Tippers preferred).
- Proven ability to lead mechanical and electrical technicians/mistris.

- Duty Hours: 12-hour shift per day (Monday to Saturday; Sunday is a half-day shift).
- Monthly Paid Offs: 2 paid offs per month.
- Leave Carry Forward: Unutilized paid leaves may be carried forward up to a maximum of 10 leaves.

Key Operational Tasks

- Monitor turnaround time, diesel consumption per rake, and manage overload/underload tracking.
- Handle site-level liaison and coordination as required for smooth fleet operations.

Key Roles & Responsibilities





- Fleet Maintenance: Take complete ownership of preventive and breakdown maintenance for all site vehicles (Tata Tippers).
- Planning & Supervision: Plan, prioritize, and supervise daily maintenance schedules.
- Team Leadership: Lead, guide, and coordinate mechanical and electrical mistris/technicians for repairs, servicing, and major overhauls.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults accurately and guide the team toward rapid resolution.
- Periodic Servicing: Ensure timely servicing strictly as per manufacturer schedules (engine, brakes, transmission, tyres, electricals, AC, etc.).
- Inventory & Spare Parts: Maintain spare parts inventory, raise indents on time, and coordinate with stores/procurement to prevent fleet downtime.
- Documentation & MIS: Maintain updated maintenance records, service histories, vehicle logbooks, and daily/monthly MIS reports.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to site safety standards, statutory vehicle fitness certificates, insurance, and all vehicle-related documentation.
- Fuel & Fleet Efficiency: Continuously monitor fuel consumption, analyze vehicle utilization, and flag anomalies immediately.
- Driver Coordination: Coordinate regularly with drivers and operators to inspect vehicle conditions and resolve issues proactively.
- Vendor Management: Liaise with authorized workshops and external vendors for specialized jobs beyond in-house capabilities.
