Job Overview

We are looking for a Graphic Design Faculty to train, mentor, and guide students in graphic design and visual communication.

The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of graphic design, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to deliver engaging, industry-oriented training. The candidate will be responsible for conducting practical design sessions, mentoring students, evaluating assignments and projects, supporting portfolio development, and contributing to creative and academic activities.

The role also involves creating skilled visual content for organizational requirements and continuously updating design skills, tools, and training modules based on current industry trends.

Key Responsibilities

1. Graphic Design Training & Teaching

Conduct engaging and structured graphic design training sessions to students both fundamental and advanced graphic design concepts.

2. Design Software & Practical Training

Provide practical training in relevant graphic design tools and software and ensure students are getting practical knowledge on that.

3. Student Mentoring & Academic Support

Conduct assigned mentoring sessions and provide practical guidance to students and help students understand academic modules, assignments, and learning activities.

4. Assignments, Projects & Assessments





Develop practical graphic design assignments and projects and assign real-world design tasks to improve students' practical skills.

5. Portfolio & Career Development

Guide students in developing professional graphic design portfolios and provide advice on industry expectations and career opportunities in graphic design.

6. Student Timeline & Module Management

Regularly monitor student timelines and academic progress and ensure assigned design modules are completed within the expected timeline.

7. Creative Design & Content Development

In addition to teaching responsibilities, the faculty member may be required to support the organization's creative requirements.

8. Student Engagement & Program Coordination

Participate in workshops, seminars, exhibitions, design events, and academic activities and encourage active student participation and engagement.

9. Curriculum Development & Industry Updates

Contribute to the development and improvement of graphic design training modules and introduce relevant industry examples, case studies, and practical projects into training.

10. Personal Skill Development

Stay updated with the latest graphic design trends, tools, technologies, and creative techniques and apply newly acquired knowledge in teaching, mentoring, and creative projects.

Team Coordination & Professional Development

Coordinate effectively with mentors, Team Leads, Department Heads, and other academic teams and active participation in departmental meetings, reviews, and training and other engagement activities.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or relevant qualification in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, Multimedia, Digital Media, or a related field.

Strong practical knowledge of graphic design and visual communication.

Hands-on experience with professional graphic design software.

Strong portfolio demonstrating creative and professional design work.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.
