- A Biomedical Service Engineer installs, maintains, calibrates, and repairs medical and diagnostic equipment to ensure safety and performance in healthcare facilities.
- Key Responsibilities
- Installation & Setup: Unpack, assemble, calibrate, and test current medical machines and software at hospitals or clinics.
- Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine preventive maintenance and fix equipment breakdowns promptly.
- Safety & Compliance: Conduct safety checks to make sure devices follow health regulations and quality standards.
- Staff Training: Instruct doctors, nurses, and clinical teams on the safe and proper use of medical tools.
- Documentation: Keep accurate service histories, call logs, inventory lists, and repair reports.
