Job Summary

The Security Guard is responsible for maintaining security, safety, discipline, and controlled access within the hospital premises and ensuring the safety of patients, attendants, visitors, employees, and hospital property.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor entry and exit of patients, attendants, visitors, staff, and vehicles.
- Check and maintain visitor/vehicle records as required.
- Ensure only authorized persons enter restricted areas.
- Monitor CCTV cameras and report suspicious activities.
- Maintain security and discipline within the hospital premises.
- Control crowds and manage visitor movement during emergencies.
- Assist in maintaining smooth ambulance movement and emergency access.
- Conduct regular rounds of assigned areas.
- Prevent unauthorized removal of hospital property, equipment, or materials.
- Report theft, damage, suspicious activity, or security incidents immediately.
- Assist patients, attendants, and visitors with basic directions and guidance.
- Support hospital staff during emergencies, fire incidents, evacuation, or other critical situations.




- Ensure parking areas and hospital entrances remain transparent and properly managed.
- Maintain proper handover and takeover of duties between shifts.
- Follow all hospital security policies, SOPs, and instructions from management.
- Maintain professional behavior and respectful communication with patients and visitors.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding hospital, patient, and staff information.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Minimum 10th pass preferred.
- Previous security/hospital experience preferred.
- Physically fit and capable of standing/walking for long periods.
- Good communication and observation skills.
- Basic knowledge of emergency procedures and fire safety.
- Ability to remain calm and disciplined during emergencies.
- Police verification and required identification documents as per hospital policy.

Shift Duties

- Security Guards may be required to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Timely reporting and proper shift handover are mandatory.

Pay: ₹8,858.23 - ₹10,674.65 per month
