We are looking for a creative, proactive, and results-oriented Social Media Manager to lead our social media presence and communicate our initiatives, campaigns, projects, and community stories effectively through digital platforms.

About the Role

The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies, managing digital platforms, creating and coordinating content, engaging with the online community, and increasing awareness of WECAN's initiatives.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of social media platforms, content strategy, audience engagement, digital trends, and social-impact communication.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Manage and maintain social media accounts including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
- Plan and maintain a monthly/weekly social media content calendar.
- Create, coordinate, publish, and monitor engaging social media content.
- Work closely with the graphic designer and video editor to produce high-quality visual content.
- Develop creative concepts for campaigns, awareness programmes, events, and social initiatives.
- Convert project activities, community stories, events, and achievements into engaging digital content.
- Monitor social media trends and identify opportunities to improve reach and engagement.
- Respond to comments, messages, and audience interactions professionally.
- Build and maintain an active online community around WECAN's initiatives.
- Monitor social media performance and prepare regular analytics and performance reports.
- Track key metrics such as reach, impressions,



engagement, followers, views, leads, and conversions.
- Conduct competitor and industry research to identify new content opportunities.
- Coordinate with internal teams to collect information, photographs, videos, and updates from projects.
- Support digital campaigns, online events, awareness drives, and promotional activities.
- Ensure consistency in the organization's brand identity and communication style.

Required Skills

- Solid knowledge of social media platforms and digital content trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong creative thinking and storytelling ability.
- Good understanding of social media algorithms, engagement strategies, and audience growth.
- Ability to create effective captions, campaign messages, and social media copy.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design and video editing tools is an advantage.
- Ability to use Canva and other content creation tools.
- Basic understanding of social media analytics and reporting.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines.
- Good interpersonal and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.

Preferred Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in any of the following fields is preferred:

- Business Administration
- Social Sciences
- Or any related field.

Candidates from other educational backgrounds with relevant experience and a strong portfolio may also apply.

Experience

1–3 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, content management, communications, or a related field.

Freshers with exceptional social media skills, creativity, and a strong portfolio may also be considered.
