The Role

ePropelled is looking for an experienced Project Manager to coordinate the development of electric motor, electronics, controls and software projects within our Chennai engineering team.

The role will act as the central point of coordination between engineering disciplines and international ePropelled teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the required technical and commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and manage motor, electronics and software development projects.
- Coordinate mechanical, electrical, motor-control, embedded software and testing teams.
- Own project schedules, milestones, actions and deliverables.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues and dependencies.
- Run regular project meetings and provide clear progress reports to management.
- Coordinate prototype builds, testing, validation and product releases.
- Work with suppliers and international engineering teams as required.
- Ensure engineering priorities and project objectives remain aligned.

Experience & Skills:

- Proven experience in engineering or technology project management.
- Engineering degree or equivalent technical background preferred.




- Experience managing multidisciplinary development projects.
- Good understanding of electric motors, electronics, embedded software or controls.
- Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work effectively with technical teams and senior management.
- Experience with project-management tools such as Jira, MS Project or similar.

Desirable

- Experience in electric vehicles, electric motors, power electronics, automotive, aerospace, industrial automation or embedded systems.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in a project management role
- Desirable: PMP certification
- Engineering degree in any discipline – Required or Program Management degree

- A hands-on, technically minded Project Manager who can bring structure, pace and accountability to complex engineering projects and effectively coordinate teams across Chennai and international ePropelled locations.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
