About the Role

Ara Lumiere is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Fashion Designer to join our luxury fashion brand. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of design, fabric knowledge, garment construction, and trend forecasting, with the ability to translate concepts into premium, market-ready collections.

Key Responsibilities

- Research fashion trends, colour palettes, fabrics, and silhouettes for upcoming collections.
- Develop creative design concepts, mood boards, and seasonal collections.
- Create sketches, technical drawings, and design specifications.
- Select fabrics, trims, embellishments, and accessories suitable for luxury garments.
- Coordinate with the merchandising and production teams during sampling and production.




- Conduct fittings and make design modifications based on feedback.
- Ensure garments meet brand quality, fit, and aesthetic standards.
- Visit vendors and production units when required to oversee sample development.
- Maintain design documentation, tech packs, and sample records.
- Collaborate with the marketing team for photoshoots, campaigns, and product launches.

Required Skills

- Strong fashion illustration and sketching skills.
- Knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, and fabric properties.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Canva (preferred).
- Understanding of luxury fashion, couture, and contemporary women's wear.
- Excellent creativity, attention to detail, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple collections and meet deadlines.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
