Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Carry out regular inspection, servicing, maintenance and repair of diesel-operated heavy equipment such as Hyva, JCB, PC/Excavator, Wheel Loader and other HEMM.
- Diagnose and rectify faults related to diesel engines, fuel systems, cooling systems, lubrication systems and exhaust systems.
- Conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance to ensure maximum equipment availability and minimize downtime.
- Inspect and maintain engine, transmission, clutch, differential, hydraulic and braking systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems, including hydraulic pumps, motors, cylinders, hoses, valves and related components.
- Check and maintain battery, starter motor, alternator and basic electrical systems of equipment.
- Perform regular checks of engine oil, coolant, hydraulic oil, transmission oil, filters, fuel system and other lubricants.
- Attend emergency breakdowns and ensure quick restoration of equipment to operational condition.
- Carry out scheduled oil changes, filter replacement, greasing and periodic servicing as per OEM/service schedules.
- Identify abnormal engine noise, vibration, overheating, oil leakage, smoke and performance issues and take corrective action.
- Maintain proper maintenance records, breakdown reports,



service history and spare-parts requirements for all assigned equipment.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance Incharge / HEMM Incharge / Site Engineer regarding equipment condition and repair requirements.
- Ensure proper use and care of tools, equipment and spare parts during maintenance activities.
- Follow all site safety rules, PPE requirements and maintenance safety procedures while working on heavy equipment.
- Ensure that equipment is properly isolated, parked and made safe before carrying out repair or maintenance work.
- Support the operations team in maintaining maximum equipment availability and minimum breakdown time.

Major Equipment Handling

- Hyva / Tipper: Engine, clutch, transmission, differential, braking and hydraulic tipping system.
- JCB: Engine, hydraulic system, transmission, boom/arm, bucket and electrical systems.
- PC / Excavator: Engine, hydraulic pumps, travel system, swing system, boom, arm and bucket.
- Wheel Loader: Engine, transmission, hydraulic system, steering, braking and loader/bucket mechanism.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
