VMC Machine Programmer

Position: VMC Machine Programmer
Experience: Minimum 2 Years
Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹50,000 per month
Employment Type: Full-time

We are looking for an experienced VMC Machine Programmer with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in CNC/VMC programming. Candidates with strong practical knowledge and relevant experience are welcome, regardless of educational qualification.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and modify VMC/CNC programs for 2D and 3D machining operations.
- Read and understand 2D engineering drawings and 3D models.
- Create CNC programs using any suitable CAD/CAM software.
- Program VMC machines using G-code and M-code.
- Set work offsets, tool offsets and machining parameters.
- Select suitable cutting tools and machining strategies.
- Optimize programs to improve cycle time, tool life and machining quality.
- Perform program prove-out and troubleshoot machining/programming issues.
- Ensure components are manufactured according to drawing specifications and required tolerances.




- Coordinate with production and quality teams.

Required Skills

- Minimum 2 years of VMC/CNC programming experience.
- Good knowledge of 2D and 3D programming.
- Positive knowledge of any 3D CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam, PowerMill, NX CAM, SolidCAM, Fusion 360, Creo, or equivalent.
- Good knowledge of G-code and M-code.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and GD&T;.
- Knowledge of cutting tools, feeds, speeds and machining parameters.
- Practical knowledge of VMC machine setting and troubleshooting.
- Good problem-solving and programming skills.

Qualification

Any educational qualification is acceptable.
Practical VMC programming experience and technical skills will be given more importance than formal education.

Salary

₹30,000 – ₹50,000 per month, based on experience, technical skills and interview performance.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
