Role Overview

Fospe is seeking an innovative AI Engineer to engineer custom cognitive systems, intelligent classification pipelines, and autonomous agent workflows. In this fully remote position, you will bridge the gap between theoretical machine learning and mission-critical production software, deploying intelligent features that scale to thousands of enterprise users.

Key Responsibilities

- ✓Develop production AI microservices integrating state-of-the-art vision, NLP, and reasoning models.
- ✓Build autonomous workflow agents capable of complex tool invocation, decision trees, and structured data outputs.
- ✓Create automated data ingestion, cleaning, and feature extraction pipelines for continuous model evaluation.
- ✓Monitor and optimize model inference latency, API throughput, and token cost economics across high-volume production endpoints.
- ✓Collaborate with product designers and full-stack engineers to deliver intuitive, AI-native user experiences.

Mandatory Requirements

Eligibility & Qualifications

- ✓Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical industry experience.
- ✓2+ years of professional software engineering experience building and deploying backend services or ML systems.




- ✓Proficiency in Python and TypeScript/Node.js or Go.
- ✓Solid working knowledge of foundation model APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Groq, Ollama) and embeddings.
- ✓Experience with REST/gRPC API design, microservices architecture, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
- ✓Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), CI/CD pipelines, and containerized deployments.

Preferred / Advantageous Qualifications

- Experience with agentic frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, or Semantic Kernel.
- Knowledge of prompt caching, semantic routing, and function calling optimizations.
- Prior experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise tech startups.
