As an Embedded Systems Engineer, you will drive the firmware development lifecycle for our high-precision measurement products. You will work closely with hardware designers to execute board bring-up, develop peripheral drivers, and implement robust connectivity features. Your expertise in ARM Core microcontrollers, low-level protocols, and Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) will directly power our industrial IoT ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
· Firmware Development: Design and implement clean, productive, and reliable embedded software in C++ and ARM Assembly.
· Board Bring-up & Debugging: Perform initial hardware bring-up of prototype boards using debugging tools such as JTAG, SWD, Oscilloscopes, and Logic Analyzers.
· Peripheral Driver Implementation: Write low-level drivers to interface with hardware peripherals, including ADCs, DACs, displays, external memory devices, and SD cards.
· Connectivity & Networking: Implement and optimize communication stacks for wired and wireless protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, USB, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, BLE).
· IoT Protocols: Develop secure data telemetry pipelines using HTTP/HTTPS and MQTT/MQTTS for cloud integration.
· Operating Systems: Develop and manage firmware running on FreeRTOS and customized Embedded Linux environments.
Required Qualifications & Skills
· Experience:
3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in embedded firmware development.
· Microcontrollers: Strong architecture-level knowledge of ARM Cortex-M/A core microcontrollers (e.g., STM32, NXP, TI, or Nordic).
· Programming Languages: Proficiency in C++ and familiarity with ARM Assembly for low-level optimization.
· Communication Protocols: Extensive experience implementing SPI, I2C, UART, USB, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and BLE.
· IoT & Network Protocols: Practical knowledge of application layer protocols including HTTP/HTTPS and MQTT/MQTTS.
· Operating Systems: Hands-on experience with FreeRTOS (task scheduling, semaphores, queues) and Embedded Linux (kernel deployment, driver modification).
· Hardware Interfacing: Experience configuring and sampling from ADCs, DACs, displays, memory modules (Flash/EEPROM), and SD cards.
Nice-to-Have Skills
· Familiarity with industrial automation standards (e.g., Modbus, OPC UA).
· Experience with low-power optimization for battery-operated sensing devices.
· Understanding of basic PCB schematics and hardware debugging layouts.
Pay: ₹409,769.63 - ₹788,571.43 per year
