Position: PLC Programmer & Panel Wiring Engineer – SPM

Experience Required

- 2–5 years of relevant experience in PLC programming, electrical panel wiring, and SPM automation.
- Hands-on experience in SPM / automation machine commissioning is preferred.
- Only experienced candidates will be considered. Freshers are not eligible.

Job Responsibilities

- Develop and modify PLC programs for SPM and industrial automation machines.
- Perform PLC programming, troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning.
- Handle electrical control panel wiring, termination, and panel assembly.
- Read and understand electrical circuit diagrams and control panel drawings.
- Perform machine wiring from electrical panels to motors, sensors, solenoid valves, cylinders, and other field devices.
- Configure and troubleshoot VFDs, servo drives, sensors, relays, contactors, and safety circuits.
- Conduct I/O checking and troubleshoot PLC input/output issues.
- Commission SPM machines at the company and customer sites.
- Identify and rectify electrical and automation-related faults during machine trials.
- Coordinate with the Mechanical Design, Assembly, and Production teams during machine commissioning.
- Modify PLC programs based on machine requirements and customer specifications.
- Ensure proper machine sequence,



interlocking, safety, and automation functionality.
- Prepare and maintain PLC programs, electrical documentation, and backup files.

PLC / Automation Skills

- Experience with any of the following PLC platforms:
- Siemens
- Mitsubishi
- Delta
- Allen-Bradley
- Knowledge of HMI programming and troubleshooting is an advantage.
- Knowledge of VFD, servo systems, sensors, pneumatic controls, and industrial automation.
- Positive understanding of PLC logic, timers, counters, interlocks, and sequence control.

Panel Wiring Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in control panel wiring.
- Knowledge of MCC, PLC, relay, contactor, MCB, SMPS, terminal blocks, VFD, and control circuits.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Experience in panel dressing, ferruling, cable routing, termination, and testing.

Qualification

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / EEE / ECE / Mechatronics or related field.

Candidate Requirements

- Only experienced candidates.
- Freshers are NOT eligible.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
- SPM / automation machine experience will be given priority.
- Should be willing to travel to customer sites for installation and commissioning when required.
