Job Summary:
As an Accounting Intern at Filo, you will work closely with the finance team to maintain accurate accounting records, manage and reconcile expenses, clean up historical accounts, and review GST, TDS and audit-related compliances. This role offers hands-on exposure to accounting operations in a fast-paced technology company, with ownership of real financial data and processes

What you'll do

- Own day-to-day tracking and reconciliation of employee and business expenses.
- Maintain accurate accounting records, supporting documents and transaction-level documentation.
- Drive cleanup of historical accounting entries and identify unresolved discrepancies across prior periods.
- Reconcile ledgers, expense records, bank-related transactions and supporting documentation to improve accounting accuracy.




- Review GST input records and flag mismatches, missing documentation or unusual entries for resolution.
- Track TDS-related records and documentation to ensure information required for filings is complete and accurate.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to collect invoices, bills, expense proofs and other financial documents.
- Prepare schedules and working papers required for audits and statutory compliance reviews.
- Improve accounting documentation and filing systems to make financial records easier to retrieve and review.
- Deliver accurate and timely finance records while maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail.

What we're looking for

- Pursuing or recently completed B.Com, M.Com or a related Finance/Accounting qualification.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, journal entries, ledgers and reconciliations.
- Basic understanding of GST and TDS concepts and statutory compliance processes.
- Comfortable working with MS Excel/Google Sheets for financial data and reconciliations.
- Familiarity with Tally, Zoho Books or another accounting platform is preferred.
- Demonstrates ownership, confidentiality and a willingness to learn practical accounting in a fast-paced technology company.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
