Java Backend Developer with Agentic AI

Role: Senior Java Backend / AI Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer with robust hands-on expertise in Agentic AI and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The candidate must have excellent Java coding skills and experience building production-grade enterprise applications and AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop scalable backend applications using Java 17/21, Spring Boot and Microservices.
- Build enterprise-grade APIs, integrations and distributed systems.
- Develop Agentic AI applications, autonomous agents, multi-agent workflows, tool-calling and reasoning workflows.
- Implement AI solutions using ADK, Spring AI, LangChain4j, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel or similar frameworks.
- Build and optimize RAG pipelines, including document parsing, semantic chunking, embeddings and vector search.
- Integrate Vertex AI, Gemini models and Document AI with enterprise applications.
- Deploy and manage applications using GCP, GKE, Cloud Run and Kubernetes.
- Implement LLM evaluation, guardrails, hallucination mitigation and AI governance.

Must-Have Skills

- 8+ years of enterprise software development experience




- Strong hands-on Java 17/21 coding
- Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Microservices, Hibernate/JPA
- Strong GCP experience
- Vertex AI & Gemini
- Agentic AI / Generative AI / LLMs
- RAG & Vector Search
- ADK / Spring AI / LangChain4j / LangGraph / Semantic Kernel
- GKE, Cloud Run & Pub/Sub
- SQL & NoSQL databases
- Vector databases – pgvector, Pinecone or Vertex AI Vector Search
- Docker & Kubernetes

- Advanced prompt engineering
- Multi-agent architecture and orchestration
- LLMOps and model evaluation
- AI security, governance and hallucination guardrails
