Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced HR Manager with a strong background in the luxury hotel/hospitality industry to manage end-to-end HR operations, talent management, employee relations, training, payroll, and statutory compliance.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of hospitality HR practices and the ability to manage a diverse workforce in a fast-paced 5-star setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end HR operations for the hotel.
- Plan manpower requirements based on occupancy, seasonal demand, group bookings, and business requirements.
- Handle recruitment for Front Office, F&B;/Culinary, Housekeeping, and management positions.
- Develop employee engagement and retention initiatives.
- Coordinate luxury service standards, grooming, etiquette, and brand-orientation training.
- Manage employee grievances, conflicts, disciplinary matters, and employee relations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements, including PF, ESIC, POSH, overtime, shifts, and contract labour.
- Manage HRIS and HR analytics using systems such as SuccessFactors, Workday, or IDS Next.
- Handle probation reviews, annual appraisals, performance management, and career progression.
- Work closely with the General Manager, Executive Chef,



and Head of Rooms on HR and manpower requirements.
- Manage hotel payroll, including attendance, leave, overtime, service charge, night-shift allowances, split-shift premiums, tips, PF, ESIC, and TDS.
- Validate biometric attendance and shift rosters for 24/7 operations.
- Prepare payroll reports, bank files, payslips, departmental labour-cost analysis, and Full & Final settlements.
- Manage third-party vendors/agencies for outsourced hotel services such as security, valet, and housekeeping/deep cleaning.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or Hotel Management.
- 8–10 years of HR management experience.
- Minimum 4–5 years of experience in a luxury hotel/hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of hospitality HR operations and labour regulations.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS/payroll systems.
- Strong employee relations and conflict-resolution skills.
- Good communication, leadership, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced hospitality environment.
