About the Role

We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic Junior Interior Designer to join our design team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of interior design principles and the ability to translate client requirements into functional, aesthetically pleasing, and practical design solutions.

The candidate should have good exposure to space planning, estimation, materials, modular furniture, finishes, hardware, accessories, and design software. The role will involve supporting projects from concept development through design documentation, site execution, procurement, and installation.

The ideal candidate should possess creativity, a strong design sense, valuable client engagement skills, and excellent communication abilities, along with hands-on proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp.

Key Responsibilities

- Meet clients to understand design needs, preferences, and budgets.
- Develop creative interior design concepts based on client requirements.
- Prepare space plans, furniture layouts, mood boards, colour schemes, and presentations.
- Create 2D drawings, 3D models, and renderings using design software.
- Select materials, furniture, lighting, fixtures, finishes, hardware, and décor.
- Assist with estimation, material selection, modular furniture, and finishes.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, vendors, and suppliers.
- Conduct site visits and supervise execution to ensure design accuracy.
- Assist with project timelines, procurement, and installation activities.
- Ensure designs meet building codes, safety,



and accessibility standards.
- Stay updated on design trends, materials, and sustainable practices.

Required Skills & Technical Expertise

- Hands-on experience in AutoCAD 2D for drafting and technical drawings.
- Good working knowledge of SketchUp 3D.
- Knowledge of other interior design and 3D visualisation software is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of space planning and furniture layouts.
- Knowledge of materials, modular furniture, finishes, hardware, and accessories.
- Basic knowledge of estimation, material quantities, and costing.
- Ability to create design presentations, mood boards, 3D models, and technical drawings.
- Strong creativity, design sense, and attention to detail.
- Good client engagement, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to coordinate with teams, vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project timelines.

Qualification

- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design / Interior Architecture / Architecture (B.Arch)
- Candidates with 2–4 years of relevant experience may apply.
- Candidates should demonstrate creativity, originality, and a strong understanding of design principles.
- A portfolio showcasing academic or professional interior design projects is preferred.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
