Oncology Nurse Responsibilities & Duties

- Administer chemotherapy, radiation, and other cancer treatments.
- Assess patient health status and monitor for any changes.
- Educate patients and their families on the disease, treatment plans, and side effects.
- Coordinate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive care.
- Manage symptoms and provide palliative care to ensure patient comfort.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Conduct follow-up care and monitoring post-treatment.
- Advocate for patient needs and concerns within the healthcare system.
- Participate in cancer research and clinical trials as needed.
- Provide psychological support to patients and their families.

Oncology Nurse Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing.
- Previous experience in oncology or a related field.
- Certification in Oncology Nursing (OCN).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and highly emotional workplace.
- Knowledge of current cancer treatment protocols and research.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
