- Manage end-to-end import shipments from order placement through final delivery.
- Coordinate with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, transporters, and internal teams.
- Monitor shipment schedules, ETD/ETA, and ensure timely follow-up on shipments.
- Prepare, verify, and maintain import documentation, including:
- Commercial Invoices
- Packing Lists
- Bills of Lading / Airway Bills
- Certificates of Origin
- Insurance documents
- Import declarations and related customs documents
- Coordinate with Customs House Agents (CHAs) for customs clearance and resolve documentation or clearance issues.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations, import procedures, and applicable statutory requirements.
- Track customs duties, taxes, freight charges, and other import-related costs.
- Coordinate with the finance/accounts team for duty payments, vendor payments, and documentation related to imports.
- Maintain accurate records of import shipments,
documentation, and clearance status.
- Monitor demurrage, detention, storage, and other additional charges and take corrective action to minimize costs.
- Follow up with warehouses and transporters for timely delivery of cleared shipments.
- Reconcile import documentation, invoices, and shipment-related expenses.
- Prepare regular MIS reports on shipment status, import costs, pending clearances, and delivery schedules.
- Maintain solid communication with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure smooth shipment movement.
- Support audits and provide required import-related documents and records.
- Identify opportunities to improve import processes, reduce costs, and improve shipment turnaround time.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
