Job Summary

Filo Edtech is looking for an experienced Chemistry Faculty to teach Class 11th and 12th students from our Gurgaon studio.

The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting online Chemistry classes for Class 11th and 12th students from our studio. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and prior familiarity with online teaching/tutoring platforms and virtual classroom environments.

The role requires the ability to explain Chemistry concepts clearly in an online format, engage students effectively, resolve doubts, and support students in their academic preparation for Class 11th and 12th examinations.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct engaging and concept-focused online Chemistry classes for Class 11th and 12th students from the Filo Gurgaon studio.
- Teach Chemistry concepts according to the Class 11th and 12th curriculum.
- Explain fundamental and advanced concepts in a simple, structured, and student-friendly manner.
- Conduct regular problem-solving, practice, and doubt-resolution sessions.
- Help students develop strong conceptual understanding and analytical skills.
- Solve and explain numerical, conceptual, and application-based Chemistry questions.
- Identify students' learning gaps and provide appropriate academic support.
- Monitor student performance and provide regular feedback.
- Create an interactive and engaging online classroom environment.
- Encourage students to actively participate, ask questions, and clarify their doubts.
- Use digital teaching tools and online resources effectively during classes.
- Adapt teaching techniques to maintain student engagement in an online learning environment.




- Coordinate with the academic team to ensure effective delivery of the curriculum and learning outcomes.

What We're Looking For

- 1–3 years of teaching experience in Chemistry.
- Strong experience teaching Class 11th and 12th Chemistry.
- Strong command of Chemistry concepts relevant to the Class 11th and 12th curriculum.
- Prior experience with online tutoring/online teaching is required.
- Comfortable conducting live classes using digital/online teaching tools.
- Ability to explain complex Chemistry concepts clearly in an online classroom.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent classroom management and student-engagement skills in a virtual environment.
- Ability to solve and explain numerical and conceptual Chemistry problems effectively.
- Student-centric approach with the ability to identify and address learning gaps.
- Comfortable using digital whiteboards, presentation tools, and other online teaching resources.
- Candidates with experience teaching students through established online education platforms will be preferred.

Important Role Requirement

This is an on-site role based in Gurgaon.

The selected faculty will be required to report to the Filo Gurgaon studio and conduct online classes from the studio.

Candidates must be comfortable with:

- Working from the Gurgaon studio on a full-time basis.
- Conducting live online classes for students.
- Using digital teaching tools and virtual classroom technology.
- Engaging and interacting with students effectively through an online format.

This is not a work-from-home position.
