The position requires a hands-on professional with 5–8 years of relevant experience who can independently manage the organisation’s end-to-end finance, accounts, compliance, procurement and contracting functions, covering accounting, taxation, payroll, banking, insurance, project finance, cash flow, audits, vendor empanelment, procurement processes, contract administration and statutory compliance.

Based in New Delhi, the role requires a high degree of ownership, accuracy, integrity, confidentiality and professional judgement, together with the ability to coordinate effectively with management, auditors, banks, clients, vendors, consultants, procurements and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities-

Company Finance & Accounting

- Manage the organisation’s end-to-end finance and accounting operations, including bookkeeping, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, collections, payment follow-ups, vendor payments and reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts in Tally and other approved systems, with proper ledger discipline, supporting documentation and cost-centre accounting.
- Prepare monthly and periodic P&L;, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statements, management MIS and financial performance reports.
- Manage company budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, cash-flow planning and working-capital management.
- Monitor receivables, payables, statutory outflows, operational commitments and liquidity to support timely business decisions.
- Manage banking operations, including bank reconciliations, online banking, fixed deposits, bank guarantees, loans, banking documentation and other banking requirements, within approved authorisation controls.

Project Finance Management

- Independently manage the financial administration of multiple projects, including project budgets, cost centres, contract-based invoicing, expenditure tracking and fund utilisation.
- Monitor eligible and ineligible expenditure, committed costs, project cash flows, budget variances and financial milestones.
- Maintain complete project-wise financial records, supporting documents and audit trails in line with client, funder and contractual requirements.
- Prepare and submit project financial reports, utilisation statements, invoices, supporting schedules and other financial documentation required by clients, funders and implementation partners.
- Coordinate with programme teams to ensure project expenditure remains within approved budgets and contractual terms.
- Support project financial closure, including reconciliation of advances, outstanding liabilities, receivables, unutilised balances and final financial documentation.

Taxation, Payroll & Statutory Compliance

- Manage applicable statutory and tax compliances, including GST, TDS, Income Tax, EPF, ESIC,



Professional Tax and other regulatory requirements, directly or in coordination with appointed professionals.
- Maintain a comprehensive compliance calendar covering statutory payments, returns, filings, licences, renewals and regulatory obligations.
- Manage payroll in coordination with HR, including salary processing, statutory deductions, TDS, EPF, ESIC, advances, recoveries, reimbursements and final settlements.
- Coordinate statutory, internal, project, funder and client audits, maintain audit-ready records and ensure timely closure of audit observations.

Insurance, Expenses & Reimbursements

- Manage organisational and employee insurance, including group health insurance, general insurance, asset insurance, travel insurance and other applicable policies, including renewals, documentation and claims.
- Review and process travel expenses, employee reimbursements, project expenses, advances and settlements in accordance with approved policies, budgets and supporting documentation.

Procurement & Vendor Management

- Manage vendor empanelment, onboarding and due diligence, including verification of statutory registrations, tax records, bank details, declarations, credentials and supporting documents.
- Administer procurement processes, including RFQs/RFPs, quotations, bid comparisons, vendor evaluation, selection documentation, purchase orders, work orders and procurement records.
- Ensure procurement is undertaken in accordance with approved policies, delegated authorities, transparency requirements and applicable client or funder conditions.
- Maintain vendor performance, contractual and compliance records and ensure that no vendor, consultant or service provider is engaged without appropriate approvals and documentation.

Contracting & Legal Documentation

- Manage the administrative and commercial aspects of contracts, agreements, MoUs, vendor agreements, consultant agreements, service contracts, purchase orders, work orders, NDAs and other legal/commercial documentation.
- Coordinate review and finalisation of contracts with management and external legal advisers, covering scope, deliverables, commercial terms, taxes, payment milestones, liability, indemnity, confidentiality, intellectual property, compliance, termination and dispute provisions.
- Maintain a central contract repository and contract management tracker covering execution status, obligations, deliverables, payment milestones, amendments,



renewals, expiry dates and closure.
- Track contractual commitments and ensure timely action on deliverables, invoices, renewals, extensions, amendments and contractual compliance.
- Support preparation, review and execution of legal declarations, undertakings, authorisations, compliance certificates and other documentation required for clients, partners, tenders and institutional engagements.

Internal Controls & Governance

- Establish and maintain solid internal controls covering approvals, maker-checker processes, payment authorisation, expense verification, segregation of duties, procurement controls and record keeping.
- Maintain complete financial, procurement and contractual documentation with strong audit trails and documentary compliance, particularly for government, donor-funded and international development assignments.
- Proactively identify financial, contractual, procurement, legal and compliance risks and escalate material matters to management with appropriate recommendations.

Qualifications & Experience

· 5–8 years of relevant experience across finance, accounts, statutory compliance, procurement and related commercial operations.

· B.Com / M.Com required; CA, CMA, MBA Finance or an equivalent professional qualification would be preferred.

· Strong hands-on proficiency in Tally, MS Excel and accounting/finance systems, with the ability to independently maintain accurate and audit-ready financial records.

· Sound practical knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, EPF, ESIC, payroll, banking, audits and statutory compliance.

· Demonstrated experience in vendor empanelment, procurement processes and commercial documentation.

· Experience managing organisation-level finance, including budgeting, cash flow, working capital, banking, receivables, payables, financial statements, MIS and management reporting.

· Experience managing project finance, including project budgets, cost centres, contract-based invoicing, expenditure tracking, fund utilisation, financial reporting and project closure.

· Experience managing contracts and commercial documentation, including agreements, MoUs, consultant/vendor contracts, purchase orders, work orders, deliverables, payment milestones, amendments, renewals and closure.

· Ability to review commercial and financial terms and coordinate legal documentation with management and external legal advisers.

· Strong documentation, analytical, coordination and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently.
