Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Lane Operator to conduct vehicle inspection and testing operations at our Automobile Fitness/Inspection Center. The candidate will be responsible for operating testing equipment, performing hands-on vehicle checks, and ensuring accurate results as per prescribed standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate vehicle testing equipment and machinery in the assigned lane
- Conduct automobile inspection and repair-related checks as per standard procedures
- Ensure accurate data entry and recording of test results
- Guide vehicles safely in and out of the testing lane
- Perform basic troubleshooting of testing equipment during operations
- Report any equipment malfunction or discrepancy to the Lane Incharge
- Follow safety protocols during vehicle testing process
- Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of the lane and equipment
- Assist vehicle owners/drivers with basic queries related to the testing process

Required Qualifications & Experience:





- Diploma in Motor Mechanics / Electrical / Computer stream from a recognized institution
- Minimum 2 years of experience in automobile repair and maintenance
- Basic technical knowledge of vehicle systems (mechanical/electrical)
- Familiarity with computer-based data entry (preferred, given Computer stream eligibility)
- Ability to operate testing equipment/machinery accurately

- Basic computer knowledge for data entry and reporting
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Valuable communication skills
- Ability to work in shifts
