About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive sales and business growth in the Print Media & Advertising industry. The candidate will be responsible for acquiring new clients, developing business relationships, selling advertising solutions, and achieving revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, references, and field visits.
- Meet with corporates, local businesses, builders, real estate companies, educational institutions, hospitals, retailers, and other potential advertisers.
- Sell print advertising, newspaper advertisements, magazines, brochures, flyers, outdoor advertising, branding and promotional solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients.
- Understand client requirements and prepare suitable advertising proposals and quotations.
- Negotiate pricing and close deals to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Develop a strong database of potential clients and regularly follow up with prospects.
- Coordinate with the design, production, and editorial teams to ensure smooth execution of client campaigns.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities,



and new advertising opportunities.
- Maintain regular sales reports, client records, and pipeline updates.
- Attend business meetings, exhibitions, networking events, and industry events to generate leads.

Required Skills

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong sales and client relationship management abilities.
- Good presentation and convincing skills.
- Target-oriented and comfortable with field sales.
- Ability to generate leads independently and convert them into business.
- Positive knowledge of print media, advertising, branding, and marketing.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office/CRM tools.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in Print Media, Advertising Agencies, Newspaper Sales, Publishing, Outdoor Advertising, Digital Marketing, Media Sales, or B2B Sales will be preferred.
