Job Overview

A Maintenance Technician & STP Operator is responsible for the daily operation, monitoring, and general upkeep of a facility's mechanical systems and the Sewage Treatment Plant. The dual role ensures all facility utilities run smoothly while maintaining strict compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

- STP Operation & Monitoring: Run daily checks on the sewage treatment plant, monitor chemical dosing levels, test water quality parameters (pH, dissolved oxygen, etc.), and maintain precise logs.
- Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine servicing on pumps, blowers, motors, valves, and electrical panels to prevent equipment breakdowns.
- Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose mechanical or electrical faults within the facility and the STP, executing quick repairs to minimize downtime.
- Facility General Maintenance: Assist with broader facility upkeep, including plumbing, minor electrical fixes, and HVAC monitoring.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure effluent discharge meets local environmental standards and adhere to strict safety protocols (PPE, hazardous chemical handling).

## Required Skills & Qualifications

- Experience: fresher & 1–3 years of experience operating an STP or working in facility maintenance.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with wastewater treatment processes, plumbing,



and basic electrical systems.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly troubleshoot mechanical failures.
- Certification: A technical diploma (ITI/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Environmental Engineering) or an STP operator certification is highly preferred.1–3 years of experience operating an STP or working in facility maintenance.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with wastewater treatment processes, plumbing, and basic electrical systems.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
