Job Title: Bid Strategy Analyst

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Bid Strategy Analyst who can spot the right tender opportunities, work out whether they are worth pursuing and help us build a strong case to win. This is not a copy-paste tender role. You will work across opportunity research, bid strategy, competitor intelligence, pricing and submissions - turning long procurement documents into clear commercial decisions.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Find and track relevant public and private sector tender opportunities, frameworks and upcoming contracts.
- Read tender packs and quickly answer the key questions: Can we bid? Should we bid? Can we win?
- Research buyers, incumbent suppliers, competitors, previous awards and market pricing.
- Support bid strategy by identifying scoring priorities, differentiators, risks and gaps in evidence.
- Work on pricing models, margins and commercial scenarios to make sure the opportunity actually makes sense.
- Draft, coordinate and submit high-quality tender responses while managing deadlines, clarifications and required documents.
- Maintain a live opportunity pipeline and give management explicit recommendations on where to focus.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Strong research skills and the instinct to dig beyond the obvious.
- Comfort with numbers, Excel and basic pricing or margin analysis.
- Clear, persuasive writing with strong attention to detail.




- Commercial curiosity - you naturally want to know who holds the contract, what they charge and what the buyer really values.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines without losing track of the detail.
- Experience in tenders, procurement, consulting, business research, healthcare, staffing or commercial analysis is a plus - but strong thinking matters more than a perfect CV.
- Education qualification: Any undergraduate degree works for us - what matters more is that you’re curious, commercially sharp, comfortable digging into complex information and able to turn research and numbers into smart decisions.

- Clear bid / no-bid recommendations backed by research and commercial logic.
- On-time, compliant submissions with pricing that is competitive and commercially sensible.
- Better tender intelligence over time - who buys, who wins, how they price and where we can outperform.

Your research will directly influence which opportunities we pursue, how we position ourselves and what we price. It is a hands-on role for someone who wants exposure to commercial strategy, procurement and business growth.
