Job Description
Edu Career Consultancy is seeking a versatile, engaging, and dedicated TGT Social Science & EVS Teacher on behalf of a reputed CBSE school in Champa, Chhattisgarh. The ideal candidate will have the flexibility to teach Environmental Studies (EVS) to primary classes (Classes 3 to 5) and Social Science (History, Civics, Geography) to middle school classes (Classes 6 to 8).Key Responsibilities:

- Teach EVS to Classes 3, 4, and 5, focusing on foundational environmental concepts, nature awareness, and basic social habits.
- Teach Social Science (History, Geography, Political Science) to Classes 6, 7, and 8 according to the CBSE curriculum and NEP guidelines.
- Design engaging, activity-based lesson plans that connect classroom concepts to real-world scenarios through maps, charts, and projects.
- Create a lively and interactive classroom environment suitable for both younger primary children and early adolescents.
- Maintain regular records of student progress, conduct periodic tests, evaluate homework,



and provide feedback during Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs).
- Actively organize and assist in school activities, social science exhibitions, and cultural events.

Requirements & Qualifications:

- Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in History, Geography, Political Science, or a related arts/humanities field with a mandatory B.Ed. degree.
- Experience: 1–4 years of experience teaching Social Science and EVS in a CBSE school. Candidates who can confidently handle both primary and middle school mindsets will be preferred.
- Language Proficiency: Robust command over written and spoken English to deliver concepts clearly.
- Skills: Excellent classroom management, high creativity, patience, and ability to use smart boards or digital teaching aids.
