About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR & Recruitment Lead to manage the organization's end-to-end Human Resources functions and recruitment activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the complete employee lifecycle, from talent acquisition and onboarding to attendance, payroll coordination, compliance, employee engagement, performance management, and exit formalities.
The candidate will work closely with management and department heads to ensure effective people management, compliance with statutory requirements, implementation of HR policies, and a positive employee experience across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, including manpower planning, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
- Develop and implement effective candidate sourcing strategies through job portals, LinkedIn, employee referrals, social media, and other relevant channels.
- Create, publish, and manage Job Descriptions and Job Postings across appropriate recruitment platforms.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial HR interviews to assess candidates based on skills, experience, cultural fit, and organizational requirements.
- Coordinate technical and managerial interview rounds with relevant stakeholders.
- Shortlist and recommend suitable candidates for final selection.
- Manage offer discussions, salary negotiations, documentation, background verification, and joining formalities.
- Maintain recruitment trackers, candidate databases, and recruitment.
2. Employee Lifecycle Management
- Manage the complete employee lifecycle from joining to exit, ensuring smooth HR operations at every stage.
- Coordinate employee onboarding, induction, documentation, probation reviews, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and separation processes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
- Handle employee queries and provide timely resolution related to HR policies, benefits, attendance, payroll, and other HR matters.
- Ensure a professional and positive employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle.
3. Attendance & Leave Management
- Monitor and manage employee attendance, leave, late coming, absentees, and working hours.
- Ensure accurate attendance data is maintained and shared for monthly payroll processing.
- Manage leave policies and maintain appropriate leave records.
- Coordinate with department managers regarding attendance-related issues and discrepancies.
4. Payroll & Statutory Compliance
- Coordinate and oversee the monthly payroll process in collaboration with internal teams or payroll partners.
- Validate attendance, leave, deductions, incentives, and other payroll inputs before processing.
- Ensure timely and accurate management of PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, TDS, and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Maintain statutory records and ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and regulations.
- Coordinate with external consultants, payroll vendors, and statutory authorities whenever required.
5. HRMS & HR Data Management
- Manage and maintain the organization's HRMS platform, including employee records, attendance, leave, onboarding, and other HR processes.
- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of employee data within HR systems.
- Generate HR reports, dashboards, and MIS related to headcount, recruitment, attendance, attrition, leave, and other HR metrics.
- Identify opportunities to automate and improve HR processes through HRMS and technology.
6. HR Policies & Documentation
- Draft, review, implement, and regularly update HR policies, SOPs, guidelines, and employee handbooks.
- Ensure HR policies are aligned with organizational objectives and applicable statutory requirements.
- Develop and maintain employment-related documentation, including offer letters, appointment letters, confirmation letters, warning letters, experience letters, relieving letters, and other HR documents.
- Ensure consistent implementation of HR policies across departments.
7. POSH & Employee Relations
- Support and coordinate the organization's POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) framework and awareness initiatives.
- Ensure appropriate documentation and compliance related to POSH requirements.
- Handle employee grievances and workplace concerns professionally and confidentially.
- Promote a healthy,
respectful, inclusive, and positive workplace culture.
- Support employee engagement and retention initiatives.
8. Performance Management
- Coordinate employee performance management processes, including probation reviews, performance evaluations, confirmations, appraisals, and performance improvement plans (PIPs).
- Work with managers to ensure performance-related processes are conducted fairly and consistently.
- Maintain appropriate performance records and documentation.
9. HR Operations & Administration
- Manage day-to-day HR operations and ensure smooth functioning of HR processes.
- Coordinate with management and department heads on manpower requirements and HR-related matters.
- Monitor HR metrics such as headcount, attrition, absenteeism, recruitment status, and employee movements.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information and sensitive organizational data.
- Continuously identify areas for process improvement and implement efficient HR practices.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Good understanding of HR Operations and employee lifecycle management.
- Working knowledge of Payroll, PF, ESIC and statutory compliance.
- Hands-on experience with HRMS/HRIS platforms.
- Knowledge of POSH, HR policies, labour laws, and statutory regulations.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent stakeholder and employee relationship management skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Solid problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and HR reporting/MIS.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple HR responsibilities simultaneously.
Experience & Qualification
Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience in HR, Recruitment, and HR Operations.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA/PGDM in HR will be an added advantage.
