Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning & Execution
· Plan, coordinate, and monitor overall project execution from start to completion.
· Prepare project schedules, activity plans, and execution timelines.
· Ensure construction activities are progressing as per the approved project schedule.
· Maintain proper documentation of project progress.
2. Site Management
· Regularly inspect project sites and monitor day-to-day construction activities.
· Supervise civil works including excavation, RCC, masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, finishing, and external development works.
· Monitor manpower deployment and productivity at sites.
· Ensure proper coordination between site engineers, supervisors, contractors, and vendors.
3. Quality Control
· Ensure construction quality is maintained at every stage of the project.
· Ensure proper testing of construction materials wherever required.
· Coordinate with consultants and technical teams regarding quality-related matters.
4. Contractor & Vendor Management
· Coordinate with civil contractors, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and vendors.
· Verify work measurements and contractor bills before submission for approval.
· Resolve execution-related issues with contractors.
5. Quantity & Cost Control
· Monitor project quantities and material consumption.
· Verify BOQs, measurements, estimates, and quantity requirements.
· Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
6. Material Management
· Review material requirements as per project schedules.
· Ensure timely availability of construction materials at the site.
· Coordinate with purchase and stores teams to avoid project delays due to material shortages.
7. Drawings & Technical Coordination
· Review civil and structural drawings before execution.
· Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP teams,
and other technical consultants.
· Identify drawing discrepancies and get necessary clarifications before execution.
8. Team Management
· Lead and guide site engineers, supervisors, and other civil team members.
· Conduct regular site meetings and review project progress.
9. Progress Monitoring & Reporting
· Prepare daily/weekly/monthly project progress reports.
· Maintain project timelines and track planned vs. actual progress.
· Provide regular updates to management regarding project status.
· Highlight delays, risks, additional requirements, and critical issues to management in advance.
· Maintain proper records of project milestones and completion status.
10. Safety & Compliance
· Ensure proper safety practices are followed at project sites.
· Ensure workers and contractors follow required safety procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications
· B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
· 8–15 years of relevant experience in civil construction/project management.
· Strong experience in real-estate, residential, commercial, township, or large-scale construction projects.
· Strong knowledge of RCC, structural, finishing, and civil construction activities.
· Positive understanding of BOQ, estimation, quantity surveying, and billing.
· Strong contractor and vendor management skills.
· Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and project management/planning tools
· Strong communication and reporting skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile
· Should have independently handled construction projects/sites.
· Should be proactive in identifying project risks and delays.
· Candidates with experience in real-estate development projects will be preferred.
Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month
