Job Summary

Tyke Sports is looking for an experienced and responsible Cutter to join our Cutting Department at our garment manufacturing facility in Jalandhar. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of garment cutting, fabric handling, and cutting according to approved patterns and markers.

Key Responsibilities

- Cut fabric accurately according to patterns, markers, and production requirements.
- Operate and handle cutting machines and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure accurate cutting and minimize fabric wastage.
- Check fabric quality, measurements, and laying before cutting.
- Follow cutting instructions, production schedules, and quality standards.
- Maintain proper identification and bundling of cut panels.
- Coordinate with the Cutting Supervisor and Production Team.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the cutting area.
- Report any fabric defects, cutting issues, or discrepancies to the supervisor.




- Ensure daily production targets are achieved with proper quality.

Requirements

- Previous experience as a Garment Cutter is preferred.
- Knowledge of garment cutting and fabric laying.
- Ability to read and understand patterns/markers.
- Good understanding of garment manufacturing processes.
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy.
- Responsible, punctual, and disciplined.
- Experience in sportswear/activewear garment manufacturing will be an advantage.
