Job Summary :

The Senior Captain is responsible for overseeing daily operations, supervising staff, and ensuring smooth workflow while maintaining high service and operational standards. This role requires robust leadership skills and prior experience in a hospitality or service-based environment.

Duties and Responsibilities :

- Maintain a strong presence on the floor to oversee service operations and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Ensure that all guests receive high-quality service and address any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Supervise and lead the service team, ensuring that all staff adhere to company standards and protocols.
- Provide guidance and support to junior staff, fostering a positive and efficient working environment.
- Assist in the training and development of new team members.
- Answer customer questions regarding menu items and offer suggestions and upsell additional items when appropriate.
- Take and process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all details are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff.
- Monitor the timely delivery of orders, coordinating with the kitchen and service teams to maintain a smooth flow.
- Verify that all orders are served according to the guest’s specifications and company standards.




- Monitor the presentation of dishes and drinks before they are served to guests.
- Ensure that all food and beverages served meet the company’s quality standards.
- Conduct regular checks on service areas, tables, and equipment to maintain cleanliness and orderliness.
- Oversee the availability of supplies and materials required for service, including cutlery, napkins, condiments, and beverages.
- Assist in scheduling and assigning duties to team members, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts.

Requirements and Qualifications :

- Any degree or diploma in hotel management or related field
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a café or restaurant
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
- Candidates from Kerala preferred
- Candidates from Kannur, Kasaragod, Kozhikode and Wayanad preferred

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month
