A Pressure Vessel Fitter assembles, installs, and maintains heavy industrial containers designed to hold liquids or gases under high pressure.

- Layout and Fit-Up: Read and interpret complex engineering blueprints, weld maps, and technical drawings to position shells, heads, cones, and nozzles.
- Material Preparation: Cut, roll, grind, bevel, and align metal plates and pipe components (carbon steel, stainless steel, or exotic metals).
- Tack Welding and Assembly: Securely tack weld or bolt components together to prepare structural skids and pressure assemblies for final code welding.
- Quality & Dimensional Checks: Verify alignment, gaps, and dimensional accuracy using precision measuring tools before and after assembly.
- Safety & Testing Compliance:



Follow strict industrial safety protocols (such as ASME standards) and assist with hydro or pressure testing of assembled vessels.

Requirements and Qualifications

- Experience: 2 to 5+ years of hands-on fabrication and assembly experience in heavy engineering, tank building, or pipeline manufacturing.
- Technical Skills: Proficient blueprint reading, metal cutting, fitting techniques, and basic welding knowledge.
- Certifications: ITI Fitter certificate, mechanical trade test credentials, or apprenticeship completion depending on regional standards.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
