Position description:

The job role is in the Private Markets division at Acuity, one of the fastest growing segments within the firm. This opportunity is ideal for a private equity /investment banking / strategy consulting professional who is interested in working with leading global private equity funds and corporations

Primary Responsibilities:

- Support the preparation of periodic financial statements, including the Balance Sheet, Statement of Operations, Statement of Changes in Equity, Cash Flow Statement, and related disclosures in accordance with applicable accounting standards.





- Assist in preparing financial statements supporting schedules, lead schedules, reconciliations, and audit-ready working papers to ensure completeness and accuracy.

- Perform General Ledger (GL) reviews, account reconciliations, and variance analysis to identify and resolve accounting exceptions.

- Assist in the calculation and review of management fees, incentive/carried interest allocations, and related supporting schedules in accordance with fund governing documents.

- Support regulatory and statutory reporting requirements by preparing schedules, data packs, and supporting documentation.

- Perform analytical reviews and tie-outs between financial statements, supporting schedules, trial balance, and underlying accounting records.

- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including journal preparation, balance sheet reconciliations, and reporting deliverables.

- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, auditors, and onshore teams to address queries and provide supporting documentation during financial reporting and audit cycles.

Additional Responsibilities:

- MBA (Finance), CFA (Level I/II), CA (Inter), or an equivalent qualification with a strong academic background in Accounting and Finance.

- Strong conceptual understanding of financial accounting, financial statement preparation, and accounting principles.

- Familiarity with Private Equity, Private Credit, or Alternative Investment Fund structures will be an added advantage.





- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis. Exposure to accounting or ERP systems will be an advantage.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail and a control-oriented mindset.

- Ability to interpret financial data, perform reconciliations, and investigate variances logically.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams.

- Demonstrates a high learning agility, ownership mindset, and the ability to work in a deadline-driven environment while managing multiple priorities.

- Good to have: Knowledge of AI capabilities and practical business applications is a plus.

Professional attitude with a willingness to continuously develop technical knowledge in fund accounting, financial reporting, and investment operations.
