Procurement, Market Research & Lead Generation Executive – Packaging Industry

We are looking for a proactive and resourceful person to work closely with the founder of a growing industrial packaging trading/supply company.

The main responsibility will be to quickly research customer enquiries, identify the best direct manufacturers/suppliers across India, obtain competitive quotations, compare prices and specifications, and help us source materials at the best possible market rates.

Key Responsibilities:

* Receive product enquiries and understand product specifications, quantities and requirements.

* Research and identify genuine manufacturers and suppliers across India.

* Find direct manufacturers rather than traders wherever possible.

* Contact manufacturers, collect quotations, negotiate for competitive pricing and compare offers.

* Maintain a database of manufacturers, suppliers, products, prices, locations and contact details.

* Research current packaging products and understand their applications, specifications and manufacturers.

* Identify companies/customers that may require our packaging products.

* Generate B2B leads through Google, LinkedIn, IndiaMART, industry directories, company websites and other sources.

* Maintain a daily/weekly lead and supplier report.





* Coordinate with suppliers for samples, technical specifications, test certificates and other documents when required.

* Support the founder with procurement, vendor development, market research and day-to-day business tasks.

Ideal Candidate:

* Strong internet research and Google search skills.

* Good communication and negotiation skills.

* Extremely proactive and willing to pick up the phone and speak with manufacturers/customers.

* Good Excel/Google Sheets skills.

* Ability to find information quickly and independently.

* Attention to detail when comparing product specifications and quotations.

* Comfortable working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.

* Prior experience in packaging, industrial products, procurement, B2B sales or manufacturing will be an advantage, but is not mandatory.

Important: We are looking for someone who can find things independently, think commercially and solve problems rather than someone who only follows instructions.

The role will initially focus on procurement and market research, with increasing responsibility for B2B lead generation and business development.

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
