We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Computational Thinking Teacher to help students develop problem-solving, logical reasoning, creativity, and digital skills. The teacher will introduce students to computational concepts through engaging activities, projects, coding, and real-world problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach computational thinking concepts such as decomposition, pattern recognition, abstraction, and algorithmic thinking.
Plan and conduct engaging lessons appropriate to students’ age and ability.
Introduce students to coding and programming using age-appropriate tools and platforms.
Use puzzles, games, projects, and hands-on activities to develop logical thinking.
Encourage students to solve problems independently and creatively.
Integrate computational thinking with mathematics, science, and other subjects where appropriate.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, activities, and project-based learning resources.
Support students in participating in coding, robotics, STEM, or technology-related competitions.
Maintain a positive, inclusive, and technology-friendly classroom environment.
Stay updated with emerging educational technologies and computational-thinking practices.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
Knowledge of basic programming and computational concepts.
Good communication and classroom-management skills.
Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and engaging manner.
Creativity, patience, and a passion for teaching children.
Experience with Scratch, Python, Blockly, robotics, or similar educational platforms is an advantage.
