Senior Full Stack Developer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer who can independently design, develop, maintain, and deploy modern web applications.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with PHP, Laravel, Next.js, and Node.js, along with a solid understanding of MySQL, AWS, server management, deployment, CI/CD, Git, and software development lifecycle (SDLC).

This is a hands-on senior engineering role. The candidate should be comfortable working across both backend and frontend, taking ownership of features from requirements through development, testing, deployment, and production support.

The candidate should also be capable of leading a small development team, reviewing code, solving technical problems, and coordinating effectively with project managers, technical leads, QA, developers, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

Full Stack Development

- Design and develop scalable web applications using Laravel, PHP, Next.js, and Node.js.
- Develop secure and well-structured REST APIs.
- Build responsive and high-performance frontend applications using Next.js.
- Develop backend services, business logic, integrations, and APIs.
- Work with MySQL databases, including database design, optimization, relationships, indexing, and query optimization.
- Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues.
- Improve existing applications in terms of performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.

Architecture & Technical Ownership

- Translate business and technical requirements into practical technical solutions.
- Participate in application architecture and technology decisions.
- Design scalable database structures and application components.
- Identify technical risks and propose appropriate solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and maintain development standards.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and production issues.
- Ensure applications follow good security and coding practices.

DevOps, Deployment & Infrastructure

- Manage application deployment across development, staging, and production environments.
- Work with AWS infrastructure and services.
- Manage Linux-based servers and web application environments.
- Configure and maintain web servers, databases, SSL certificates, DNS, environment variables, and application services.
- Work with cloud infrastructure such as AWS and DigitalOcean.
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate build, testing, deployment, and release processes.
- Monitor application health, logs, errors, and server performance.
- Troubleshoot deployment and production infrastructure issues.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

- Lead and mentor junior and mid-level developers.
- Review pull requests and ensure code quality.
- Help the team troubleshoot difficult technical issues.
- Break down requirements into technical tasks.




- Coordinate with the Project Manager, Technical Lead, QA, frontend/backend developers, and clients.
- Participate in technical discussions and client meetings when required.
- Provide realistic technical estimates and communicate development risks.
- Take ownership of assigned projects/features from development through deployment.

- Experience working in a collaborative development team.
- Previous experience mentoring or managing developers is preferred.
