Dear Candidate,

Birla Open Minds international School, L B Nagar is looking for a compassionate and qualified Special Educator to support children with diverse learning needs, including ADHD, Autism, Learning Disabilities, and behavioural challenges. The role involves individualized intervention, inclusive classroom support, and collaboration with mother teachers and parents.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Student Assessment & Support:

- Identify and assess children with special needs / learning difficulties
- Conduct informal assessments and maintain case history
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEP)

2. Inclusive Teaching:

- Work alongside Mother Teachers in Pre-Primary & Primary classes
- Provide one-on-one and small group remedial support
- Adapt curriculum, teaching materials, and evaluation methods
- Use multi-sensory and play-based learning techniques

3. Collaboration:

- Counsel and guide parents regularly on child progress and home strategies
- Train and support Mother Teachers on inclusive classroom practices
- Coordinate with speech therapists, occupational therapists,



and psychologists if required

4. Documentation:

- Maintain progress reports, IEP records, and behavioral logs
- Prepare monthly progress reports for parents and management

Qualifications & Requirements:

- Essential: D.Ed in Special Education / B.Ed in Special Education / Diploma in Special Education (RCI Certified)
- Graduate in any discipline (Psychology background preferred)
- 1-3 years experience as Special Educator in a school (Freshers with RCI cert can also apply)
- Knowledge of LD, ASD, ADHD, ID, and early intervention strategies
- Patient, empathetic, positive attitude towards children
- Positive English communication skills
