Anodizing Operator – Roles & Responsibilities

- Operate anodizing lines as per approved process specifications and work instructions.
- Perform racking and unracking of components, ensuring proper electrical contact and part protection.
- Carry out cleaning, etching, deoxidizing, anodizing, dyeing, sealing, and rinsing operations as required.
- Monitor and maintain critical bath parameters such as temperature, pH, concentration, conductivity, and process time.
- Set and monitor rectifier voltage/current, ramp rate, and anodizing cycle parameters as specified.
- Ensure proper DI-water rinsing and prevent cross-contamination between process tanks.
- Perform visual inspection for defects such as burns, stains, uneven coating, color variation, and poor sealing.




- Handle components carefully to prevent scratches, dents, handling damage, and contamination.
- Maintain process records, bath monitoring logs, production records, and component traceability.
- Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, 5S, chemical-handling, and environmental requirements.
