Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Accountant who has robust practical knowledge of MARG Software and can independently handle day-to-day accounting and billing operations.

The candidate should be comfortable managing sales, purchase, billing, inventory, GST-related entries, party accounts, payments, receipts, outstanding reports and regular accounting work on MARG Software.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day accounting work using MARG Software.
- Create and manage Sales Invoices, Purchase Invoices, Sales Returns and Purchase Returns.
- Manage customer and supplier ledgers.
- Handle cash and bank entries.
- Record receipts, payments and expenses.
- Maintain proper stock and inventory records in MARG.
- Manage party-wise outstanding and payment follow-ups.
- Prepare and check sales, purchase and accounting reports.
- Maintain proper documentation and accounting records.
- Handle GST-related accounting entries and basic GST reports.
- Reconcile accounts and identify discrepancies.
- Maintain daily, monthly and periodic accounting records.
- Coordinate with management, suppliers and customers regarding accounts when required.
- Ensure accounting data is entered correctly and kept up to date.

Required Skills





- Must have hands-on experience with MARG Software.
- Complete practical knowledge of MARG accounting and billing functions.
- Good knowledge of Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Ledger, Receipts, Payments and Returns.
- Knowledge of GST and basic taxation.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and basic computer operations.
- Good understanding of accounting principles.
- Ability to work independently and maintain accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Candidate

- Candidate with 1–3 years of accounting experience preferred.
- Experience in Pharma, Distribution, Wholesale or Trading business will be an advantage.
- Candidates who can independently manage the complete accounting process on MARG Software will be preferred.

Important Requirement

MARG Software experience is mandatory. Candidates without practical MARG Software knowledge may not be considered.

Salary

₹15,000 – ₹30,000 per month

Salary will depend on experience, MARG Software knowledge and accounting skills.
