Key Responsibilities1. Academic Leadership

- Ensure effective implementation of GSEB Science curriculum (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Maths).
- Monitor lesson planning, teaching quality, and syllabus completion.
- Drive academic excellence in HSC Science Board results.
- Integrate NEET/JEE-oriented teaching methodologies.

2. Faculty Management

- Recruit, train, and mentor Science faculty.
- Conduct classroom observations and performance evaluations.
- Organize regular training, workshops, and subject enrichment programs.

3. Student Performance & Development

- Track student progress, test results, and board readiness.
- Plan remedial classes and doubt-solving sessions.
- Promote discipline, motivation, and career guidance.

4. Examination & Board Compliance

- Ensure compliance with GSEB rules, syllabus, and exam patterns.
- Oversee internal exams, practical exams, and board exam preparation.
- Maintain proper documentation and academic records.

5. Administration & Operations

- Manage daily operations of the Science department.
- Coordinate with management for planning, budgeting, and resources.
- Ensure proper lab infrastructure (Physics, Chemistry, Biology labs).

6. Parent & Stakeholder Engagement

- Conduct PTMs for Science stream students.
- Communicate academic progress and career guidance to parents.




- Build solid school reputation through results and performance.

7. Strategic Planning

- Develop long-term academic strategies for Science stream growth.
- Introduce innovative teaching practices and technology integration.
- Benchmark performance with top GSEB schools.

Qualification & Experience

- M.Sc. (Science subject) + B.Ed. (Mandatory)
- Minimum 5–8 years teaching experience (Science stream)
- Minimum 3–5 years leadership experience (Vice Principal / Principal)
- Strong knowledge of GSEB curriculum and board exam pattern
