Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically sound Purchase Engineer to manage procurement activities, vendor coordination, and cost optimization. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of engineering materials, sourcing strategies, and supply chain processes to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors/suppliers for engineering materials and services
- Prepare and process purchase orders in line with company policies
- Compare and analyze quotations to ensure cost efficiency and quality standards
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers
- Coordinate with internal departments (production, quality, stores) to understand material requirements
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
- Monitor inventory levels and plan purchases accordingly
- Ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality requirements




- Handle vendor performance evaluation and continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field)
- 2–5 years of experience in procurement/purchasing in an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Valuable knowledge of engineering materials, components, and vendor markets
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (Zoho, Busy, Tranzacht,etc.)

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
