JOB DESCRIPTION – CIVIL ENGINEER

Department: Infrastructure / Projects / Facilities
Reporting To: Head – Administration / Project Head
Experience: 15-20 Years

Job Summary

Responsible for planning, executing, supervising, and maintaining civil infrastructure projects. Ensure construction, renovation, and maintenance works meet quality, safety, budget, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and supervise construction, renovation, and civil maintenance projects.
- Prepare/review drawings, layouts, estimates, and project plans.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
- Monitor project timelines, quality, costs, and material usage.
- Oversee maintenance of buildings, roads, drainage, and other facilities.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure safety and statutory compliance.
- Verify measurements, bills, work completion, and contractor performance.
- Maintain project documentation and submit progress reports to Management.

Qualification





- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Master’s degree preferred but not mandatory.
- 15-20 years of relevant experience in construction, projects, or facility maintenance.
- Experience in educational institutions, campuses, or large facilities is preferred.

Working Conditions

Primarily campus/site-based with regular site inspections and coordination with project teams and contractors.
