1. Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented Business Development Manager to drive business development, lead generation, client engagement, and revenue growth for Growlity.

The role will focus on identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, conducting business meetings, supporting proposal development and closure, and strengthening Growlity’s presence across target markets, sectors, and geographies.

The position will also involve coordination with the Digital, Technical, Senior Management, and Accounts teams.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Digital Presence & Business Development Campaigns

- Manage and maintain the client/prospect database using Apollo.
- Categorize prospects into Cold, Warm, Hot, and Conversion stages.
- Conduct service-specific prospect outreach for Growlity’s offerings, including ESG Ratings, Decarbonization, and other relevant services.
- Identify and engage prospects based on specific regions and geographies, such as China, Germany, and other target markets.
- Identify and approach prospects across specific industry sectors, such as Chemicals, Pharma, and other relevant sectors.
- Conduct outreach for:
- Monthly newsletters
- Webinars
- Knowledge papers
- Research/market insights
- Service-related communications
- Support the launch and promotion of new services, product features, and new plans.
- Work with the Digital team to support website and social media initiatives from an SEO/AEO perspective.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen Growlity’s digital presence and business outreach.

B. Business Development Meetings & Client Engagement

- Conduct in office meetings and client visits at client offices.




- Conduct online meetings with new leads generated through:
- Email outreach
- Existing client references
- Website inquiries
- Networking events
- Industry conferences
- Professional networking and business travel
- Understand client requirements, business challenges, and pain points.
- Conduct meetings with existing clients to identify additional requirements and potential business opportunities.
- Develop appropriate business cases based on client requirements and pain points.
- Maintain strong and professional relationships with prospective and existing clients.

C. Knowledge Management – Webinars, Blogs & Research

- Conduct market research related to ESG and Sustainability topics.
- Work closely with Growlity’s Technical team to develop knowledge materials, including:
- Research papers
- Market insights
- Blogs
- Knowledge papers
- Identify relevant industry topics and market trends for knowledge development and outreach.
- Coordinate with the Digital team for webinar planning and execution.
- Work with the Growlity Senior team to identify suitable webinar speakers.
- Manage end-to-end webinar activities, including:
- Presentation coordination
- Polls
- Registrations
- Recordings
- Pre-webinar communications
- Post-webinar communications
- Lead follow-up

D. Events & Conferences

- Identify relevant events, conferences, and industry platforms suitable for Growlity.
- Coordinate with event organizers regarding:
- Event participation
- Pricing and negotiations




- Booth requirements
- Presentations
- Attendance
- Speaker profiles
- On-floor support
- Manage Growlity’s booth and business development activities during events and conferences.
- Plan and execute pre-event and post-event outreach.
- Follow up with leads and business opportunities generated through events and conferences.

E. Business Proposals & Business Closure

- Coordinate pre-proposal information exchange with prospective clients.
- Understand client requirements and coordinate internally for proposal preparation.
- Submit proposals following client meetings and discussions.
- Conduct regular follow-ups on submitted proposals.
- Support negotiations and discussions required for proposal closure.
- Coordinate with the Accounts team for:
- Vendor registration
- PO/WO receipt
- Commercial documentation
- Advance payment processes
- Coordinate invoice submission and follow-up for receipt of advance payments.
- Maintain proper records and follow-ups throughout the business closure process.

3. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

The performance of the Business Development Manager will be measured through the following key indicators:

- Number of leads generated per month
- Number of business/client meetings conducted per month
- Number of business proposals submitted
- Number of new warm connections added per month, including relevant email addresses, phone numbers, and business contacts
- Number of knowledge papers/blogs published per quarter
- Amount of business/revenue generated per month
- Lead-to-meeting and meeting-to-proposal conversion
- Proposal follow-up and successful business closure

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
