Job Title: QA/QC Engineer

Offered Salary: ₹35,000 – ₹45,000 per month(Salary no bar for deserving candidates)

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer – Civil to establish, monitor, and enforce strict quality assurance and quality control standards across all construction phases. Responsible for maintaining zero-defect execution, you will oversee material testing, verify structural and architectural works against GFC drawings and IS codes, maintain Quality Management System (QMS) documentation, and prepare audit-ready records for client and ISO evaluations.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Material Quality & Field Testing: Conduct sampling and lab/field testing for incoming raw materials (RMC, cement, steel, coarse/fine aggregates, bricks, tiles, and waterproofing chemicals); maintain detailed test register logs and review manufacturer test certificates (MTC).
- Pre-Execution & Stage-Wise Inspection: Inspect reinforcement steel layout, shuttering alignment, cover block placement, and concrete pour cards before issuing final approvals; oversee cube casting, slump tests, and curing routines.
- Non-Conformance & Rework Prevention: Identify execution defects or material non-conformance early, issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), track root-cause corrective actions (CAPA), and guide site teams to ensure zero rework.
- Method Statements & Quality Protocols: Implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Quality Assurance Plans (QAP),



and inspection check-sheets for civil, finishing, and MEP interface works.
- Audit Documentation & Client Sign-Offs: Maintain complete QA/QC documentation, facilitate joint inspections with clients/architects, obtain stage-wise quality sign-offs, and assist in ISO quality audit preparations.

Value-Added Responsibilities

- Third-Party Lab Coordination: Coordinate with external NABL-accredited testing laboratories for specialized material testing (e.g., tensile strength, chemical analysis, core cutter tests).
- Workmanship & Finishing Quality Standards: Enforce strict tolerance checks for blockwork, plastering, tile laying, and waterproofing to prevent long-term seepage and surface cracking issues.

Key Skills & Qualifications

- Technical Competencies: IS Code Standards, Quality Assurance Plan (QAP), Material Testing Protocols, Concrete Mix Design, Pour Card Approvals, NCR Preparation, ISO Audit Compliance.
- Inspection & Testing: RMC Testing, Slump Tests, Cube Strength Analysis, Rebar Inspection, Finishing Quality Inspection, Water Tightness Testing.
- Education: B.E. / B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Experience: 4 – 8 years of specialized QA/QC site experience in residential, commercial, or industrial civil construction projects.
- Candidates with experience in Construction (contractor companies) will be preferred.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
