About the Role

Indo European Study Abroad is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Education Counsellor to join our team. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in the study abroad/education consultancy industry, excellent communication skills, and good knowledge of foreign universities and international education opportunities.

The candidate will be responsible for counselling students, understanding their academic and career goals, and guiding them through the process of selecting suitable universities and study-abroad programs.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel students regarding overseas education opportunities and career pathways.
- Understand students' academic backgrounds, interests, and career objectives.
- Provide accurate information about foreign universities, courses, eligibility criteria, and admission requirements.
- Assist students in shortlisting suitable universities and programs.
- Guide students through the complete admission and application process.
- Follow up with prospective students and maintain regular communication.
- Assist students with documentation and application procedures.
- Stay updated on university admissions, courses, intakes, scholarships, and international education trends.




- Achieve counselling and admission targets as assigned.
- Maintain proper records of student interactions and applications.
- Build a positive relationship with students and parents throughout the counselling process.

Requirements

- Minimum 1 year of experience in education counselling/study abroad consultancy.
- Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of foreign universities, courses, and study-abroad destinations.
- Strong counselling and convincing skills.
- Ability to understand student requirements and recommend suitable options.
- Positive follow-up and relationship-management skills.
- Target-oriented, confident, and self-motivated.
- Bachelor's degree in any relevant field is preferred.

Salary & Benefits

₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month, depending on experience, skills, and interview performance.
