Production Engineer – Hydraulics / Engineering Products

Job Summary

We are looking for a Production Engineer with 1–2 years of experience in production planning, vendor coordination, and engineering products, preferably in the hydraulics industry. The candidate should be capable of handling the complete production process from customer PO receipt to final dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle complete PO-wise production planning and execution from order receipt to dispatch.
- Prepare production plans, Not-in-Stock reports, raw material requirements, and delivery schedules using MS Excel.
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure timely completion of orders.
- Prepare and release Vendor POs and coordinate with vendors/suppliers for timely production and delivery.
- Develop recent vendors/suppliers for machining and other manufacturing processes.
- Coordinate raw material procurement, MTC/UT reports, and material availability.
- Provide vendors with drawings, gauges, samples, and assembly parts as required.
- Visit vendors for part inspection and quality verification as per drawings, specifications, and approved criteria.
- Coordinate rework/replacement of rejected components with vendors.




- Arrange collection and receipt of finished/semi-finished goods at the warehouse.
- Coordinate with QC for incoming inspection, GRN, rejection, and approval.
- Manage secondary operations such as plating, buffing, and other outsourced processes.
- Follow up with vendors to ensure timely completion and receipt of processed components.
- Maintain PO, production, vendor, GRN, QC, and inspection records.
- Handover approved components to the packing/dispatch department.
- Provide daily production and order-status updates to the reporting manager/head office.
- Develop and improve Production SOPs and processes wherever required.

Candidate Requirements

- 1–2 years of experience in Production Planning / Production Coordination.
- Experience in Hydraulics, Engineering Products, Machining, or Manufacturing preferred.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, engineering drawings, measuring instruments, and basic QC.
- Strong vendor follow-up, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Should be willing to visit vendors when required.
- Should be able to manage multiple orders and meet delivery timelines.
