About the Position
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Manager / Project Manager to join our team in India and provide project management and project controls support for active construction projects in the United States.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with construction project documentation, scheduling, coordination, and project controls. This position will work closely with U.S.-based project managers, superintendents, contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and clients.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management
- Assist in managing day-to-day project management activities for U.S. construction projects.
- Track project progress, milestones, deliverables, and outstanding action items.
- Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, consultants, and vendors.
- Maintain project logs, trackers, schedules, and project documentation.
- Follow up on outstanding issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Prepare project status reports and management updates.
- Monitor project deadlines and identify potential delays or coordination issues.
RFIs – Requests for Information
- Prepare, review, track, and maintain RFI logs.
- Coordinate with project teams to obtain information required to respond to RFIs.
- Follow up on outstanding RFIs with consultants, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and project managers.
- Review RFI responses and identify potential impacts to construction activities.
- Maintain complete and organized RFI documentation.
Submittals
- Prepare and manage construction submittals.
- Maintain submittal logs and track required submission and approval dates.
- Coordinate submittals with subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and consultants.
- Track approved, rejected, and resubmitted submittals.
- Identify overdue submittals that could affect procurement or construction schedules.
- Maintain proper documentation and records of all submittal activity.
Primavera P6 Scheduling
- Develop and maintain construction schedules using Primavera P6.
- Update project schedules based on actual field progress.
- Track planned versus actual progress.
- Assist with baseline schedules, schedule updates, look-ahead schedules, and recovery schedules.
- Identify critical path activities and potential schedule delays.
- Assist in analyzing schedule impacts associated with RFIs, submittals, change orders, procurement, and unforeseen conditions.
- Prepare schedule reports and communicate schedule status to the project management team.
U.S. Construction Project Support
- Review construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and project documentation.
- Assist with coordination of architectural, structural, MEP, and other construction activities.
- Track change orders, potential change orders, and project issues.
- Assist with preparation of meeting agendas, meeting minutes, action-item logs, and project reports.
- Review daily reports, progress updates, photographs, and other field documentation.
- Assist U.S.-based project managers with project correspondence and documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in construction project management, project controls, engineering, or construction administration.
- Robust working knowledge of Primavera P6.
- Experience with construction RFIs and submittals.
- Understanding of construction schedules, critical path, milestones, and project sequencing.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to work with U.S.-based project teams and adapt to U.S. construction practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting U.S. construction projects.
- Experience with commercial, institutional, hospitality, infrastructure, or building construction.
- Knowledge of U.S. construction documentation and project administration.
- Experience with Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Bluebeam, or similar construction management platforms.
- Knowledge of change orders, cost tracking, procurement, and construction contracts.
- Experience preparing project reports and management dashboards.
Working Hours
Because this position will directly support projects in the United States, the candidate must be willing to work overlapping hours with U.S. Eastern Time as required by project needs.
The position may require evening/night working hours in India depending on the U.S. project schedule.

A candidate who can independently manage project logs, update Primavera P6, understand construction drawings, prepare professional correspondence, and proactively identify project issues will be highly valued.
