Job Description – Desktop Support Engineer

Position: Desktop Support Engineer
Experience: 06 months - 2 years
Location: Thane / Mumbai
Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide desktop, laptop, hardware, and software support to users.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows OS, applications, printers, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, network connectivity, and basic TCP/IP issues.
- Configure and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, scanners, printers, and other IT devices.
- Manage user accounts, system access, and basic Active Directory tasks.
- Perform hardware/software installation, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
- Handle IT support tickets and ensure timely resolution of user issues.
- Maintain IT asset records and documentation.
- Provide basic support for email, Microsoft Office, antivirus,



and other business applications.
- Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate team when required.

Required Skills

- Positive knowledge of Windows 10/11 and desktop troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of LAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and networking.
- Knowledge of Active Directory and user management.
- Hardware troubleshooting and installation skills.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple support requests.

Qualification: Diploma/B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc./BCA in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
