Broad outline of the Role

- Manage and maintain applications hosted on Linux servers, ensuring they are secure, stable, and performing efficiently in line with organizational standards.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts to simplify routine administrative tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Manage databases - monitoring performance, optimizing resources, and ensuring data integrity and availability.
- Diagnose and resolve server, application, database, and infrastructure issues to minimize service downtime and ensure smooth business operations.
- Participate in routine system maintenance and coordinate with other teams to apply security patches and updates, and support backup and disaster recovery processes.
- Create and maintain explicit technical documentation, including system configurations, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Follow organizational standards, security guidelines, and industry best practices to maintain a reliable and secure IT environment.**

Key Responsibilities

- Good knowledge of Linux operating systems (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL, Debian).
- Experience managing Linux services using Systemd, Cron, SSH, and log analysis.
- Hands-on experience deploying and hosting Django, Flask,



and FastAPI applications.
- Good understanding of Apache and Nginx configuration, virtual hosts and SSL certificate management.
- Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and system administration tasks.
- Working knowledge of REST API development and deployment using FastAPI.
- Experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL databases
- Understanding of Linux security, firewall configuration (UFW/IPTables/Firewalld), server hardening, and vulnerability management.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and support production environments.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

- 1- 2 years of experience with BE/B.Tech in information technology/Computer Science/Computer Application
