General Instructions :

- Hybrid work (3 Days work from office )

- Shift : 11 AM to 8 PM (Should be ready for 2 PM to 11PM also )

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, deploy, and support APIs using Azure API Management (APIM) and Axway API Gateway.
- Configure API policies, routing, transformations, throttling, caching, authentication, and authorization.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integration services.
- Implement API security standards including OAuth 2.0, JWT, OpenID Connect, API Keys, and SSL/TLS.
- Integrate APIs with backend applications, databases, cloud services, and third-party healthcare platforms.
- Monitor API performance, availability, and usage metrics.
- Troubleshoot production incidents and perform root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, developers, and healthcare stakeholders to define integration requirements.
- Support CI/CD implementation and API deployment automation.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.
- Ensure APIs comply with healthcare security and regulatory requirements

Technical Skills

- 5+ years of overall IT experience.




- Solid hands-on experience with Azure API Management (APIM).
- Experience with Axway API Gateway / Axway API Management.
- Experience designing and developing REST APIs.
- Proficiency in API security implementation:
- OAuth 2.0
- JWT
- OpenID Connect
- SSL Certificates

- Experience with JSON, XML, Swagger/OpenAPI specifications.
- Knowledge of Azure services and cloud-native integration patterns.
- Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting API platforms.
- Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and release management.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Azure Functions development.
- Knowledge of Azure Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, or Event Hub.
- Experience working with healthcare integrations such as:
- EDI Transactions (834, 835, 837, 270/271)
- FHIR APIs
- HL7 Interfaces
- Claims and Member Management Systems

- Exposure to Application Insights, Log Analytics, and Azure Monitor.
